山口百恵似の母が作るガパオライス

一昨年、「インフルエンサー」で第５９回日本レコード大賞を受賞した女性アイドルグループ「乃木坂４６」の１期生、樋口日奈さん（２１）。中学２年でデビューし、「シークレットグラフィティー」でセンターを務めるなど“グループの顔”のひとりとして、ファンに支持されている。母親が作るガパオライスが大好物だ。
「中高生の時、母は私のダンスの先生が経営しているカフェでパートで働いていたんです。料理も担当していて、私は母がそこで作って出していたガパオライスが大好きで、学校が終わってからよくそのカフェに寄って食べていました。他のお店のガパオライスもおいしいけど、母が作ってくれるのは特別おいしい。目玉焼きの焼き加減もちょうどよくて。多分、母なりに日本風にアレンジしているんだと思います」
Miss Higuchi (21), a member from the 1st generation of girl idol group “Nogizaka46”, that won the 59th edition of the Japan Record Awards with “Influencer” the year before last. She debuted while she was in second grade of middle school, she was center for “Secret Graffiti” and she is supported by fans as one of the groups faces. The Gapao Rice from her mother is one of her favorite foods.
“During middle school, my mother was working part time at a cafe run by my dance teacher. She was also in charge of the cooking, and I loved the Gapao Rice she made there, so I often went to eat at that cafe after school. The Gapao Rice from a nearby restaurant was delicious as well, but my mother’s was especially delicious. The fried eggs were also exactly right. Maybe my mother arranged it Japanese style in her own way.”
長野生まれの東京育ち。美容師の両親、姉２人の５人家族の樋口家は普段はあまり外食せず、料理上手な母親が冷蔵庫にあるもので手際よく作る。ショウガ、ミョウガなど薬味たっぷりの豚肉しゃぶしゃぶや豆腐ハンバーグなど家族の健康を気遣った料理が多い。
「祖母が長野から送ってくれるトマトやトウモロコシ、野沢菜、お父さんの田舎の滋賀から送ってくれる牛肉などの材料が多かった。３姉妹の中で私が一番よく食べる。食べ過ぎちゃダメって、よく言われます」
She was born in Nagano and raised in Tokyo. Both her parents were beauty artists, and with 2 older sisters, the Higuchi family consisting of 5 people did not eat out usually, and her mother who is skilled in cooking often made dishes with things from the refrigerator efficiently. Many dishes were made in care of the family’s health, such as tofu hamburgers and pork shabu shabu filled with condiments like shoga ginger and myoga ginger.
“My grandmother often sends tomatoes, corn and nozawana from Nagano, and my father often sent ingredients such as beef from the countryside in Shiga. From the three sisters, I am the one that eats the most. I often get told it’s not good to eat too much.”
姉・柚子さんは女優で、日奈チャンら姉妹が芸能活動をするようになったのは母親の影響が大きかった。
「母は長野から東京に出て美容師になったんですけど、芸能界に憧れがあったみたい。それで、私が小学校１年生の時にダンスを習うよう勧めてくれて、自然と芸能界に興味を持つよう導いてくれました」
Her sister Yuzu is an actress, and her mother was a great influence when the two sisters began their activities in public entertainment.
“My mother moved from Nagano to Tokyo to become a beauty artist, but she longed for the world of show business. Because of that, she encouraged me to learn dancing when I was in the first year of elementary school, and I became naturally interested in the entertainment world.”
母親は若い頃は山口百恵似、性格は明るく天然だという。
「朝からテンションが高くて、毎朝『♪起きろよ、起きろよ、みんな起きろ～』って歌いながら起こしてくれました」
When your mother was young, she resembled Yamaguchi Momoe and her bright and natural personality.
“She is in high spirits from the start of the day, and every morning she sang “♪ Wake up, wake up, everybody wake up~” to wake us up.”
母親に一度だけ反抗したことがある。
「高校が進学校で、ついていくのが大変だったんです。学校の後、仕事が遅くまであって疲れて帰ってから宿題やるという毎日。ある晩『今日は何のお仕事だったの？』って何げなく聞かれただけなのに爆発しちゃって。自分の部屋に入って鍵を閉めて。父が飛んできて部屋のドアをドンドン叩いて『なんだその口の利き方は！』って怒られ、力ずくで部屋から引っ張り出されました」
You have rebelled against your mother only once.
“When I went from high school to pre-university, I had trouble keeping up. When high school ended, I had work until late and I returned home very tired to do homework every day. One evening she asked “what work did you have today?” and although she just asked, I exploded. I went to my room and locked the door. My father rushed to my room, started banging on my door, angrily said “how dare you speak like that!” and dragged me out of my room with force.”
ちなみに父親は長渕剛似。外見はややイカツイのに普段はデレデレ……。
「子どもの頃は父が髪を切って、ハロウィーンの時はエンゼルのメークをしてくれた。今は携帯の待ち受け画面を私の写真にして夜な夜な乃木坂４６のライブ映像を見ています（笑い）」
Your father looks like Nagabushi Tsuyoshi by the way. Although his appearance is somewhat rough, he is usually too sweet……
“When I was a child, my father cut my hair and for Halloween, he made my face up to look like an Angel. His current standby picture of his cell phone is a picture of me, and he watches videos of Nogizaka46 live shows every night (laughs).”
